series video #18. The simple Success Series is designed to help
you shorten your learning curve, and get you on the road to
success as fast as possible, regardless of what business you are
bulding, either online or offline.
Now today I am going to do not a nuts and bolts system on how to
use system x y z, I am going to be doing a video on mindset, and
always moving forward.
I was speaking with a dear friend of mine
today who got me thinking of this.Our conversation hit really
close to home and I decided to do a video beacuse of it.
We do not market in a vaccum… Our business
is not insulated from life- money worries, faily struggles, a
butthead landlord, a bad day at your day job…could all impact
how you think.
Realize that no matter what your circumstances
are, you can always add value to peoples lives and network and
move forward even if you are not currently at the level you want
to be at.
What do I mean by that? Well,lets use an example- if my
buisness took a nosedive and my marketer’s bag of tricks
(auto responder, page builder, traffic source, paid ads)
all crapped out at the same time and my car got totalled
that same week- that would be a pretty heavy hit both my
wallet as well as my morale, right?
But you are not stranded or adrift…..
As long as you have
internet access you can still be adding value and networking, and
building your business…
How? well… Google, YouTube, and
Facebook- and your phone-they are your friend.
What I mean by this is if you had
nothing but internet access- if there was something that your
colleagues, friends, or business associates were having truble
with or didn’t know, or even there was something you needed to
learn,
You could do a YouTube search, or a Google search and learn how
to
do it. Then you’d apply it yourself (checking that it works) and
then
teach it to someone else.
As long as you have access to the
internet and some way to talk or type and get your message out to
people- like the Facebook groups with thousands, tens of
thousands of people in them that are all having the same
struggles, likes, dislikes, and common issues realated to what
they are doing and are looking for similar info and help. You can
add value in there when somene is having aproblem.
If someone
said “Hey I’m having truble with xyz”, you can say “Hey I have a
video / article/ blog post that can help you….PM me and I will
send you the link.”
When they go and consume that helpful
content on Facebook, YouTube, or your blog they will remember you
as a person that added value and helped them.They will remmeber
you and may pass on the favor later down the road by sharing
something
with you that will help you greatly.
If you went through a step
by step text IM chat or even a voice IM chat with someone to help
them setup skype, or solve another problem, don’t you
think that they are going to remember that? And remember that YOU
helped them? YOU BET…
I realize that not everyone has their own
blog, BUT you can join a networked blog- such as Leased Ad Space
and have an instant online presence, branding, and a platform
from which to help TONS of people.
Yes, I know, Leased Ad Space
has solo ads banners, texts etc etc-
That’s not what we are talking about.
What we are talking about is the fact that you can
sign up to Leased Ad Space as FREE member and you have instant
access to your LAS blog, setup your profile and BAM- you can blog
to your heart’s content.
For example, if you had just helped that
peson through a step by step how to session in chat it will
either
still be there in black and white (written) or at least fresh in
your mind and you can take that content and post it to your
Leased Ad Space Blog for all the world to see and learn from.
The Leased Ad Space site is a traffic MAGNET- It is like a
reverse
onion- it’s not like a normal onion where you peel the layers off
and it gets
smaller- it is a reverse onion because instead of getting smaller
from the layers being peeled back, it gets bigger and bigger as
the layers and pages of content are added and that makes it look
SUPER TASTY to the HUNGRY search engines!
Every time you post a LAS blog post it gets posted as YOUR LAS
blog
post/page AND onto the “AdBlog” section of Leased Ad Space which
in turn makes the search engines love it.
So along with that and
if you write a well written keyword rich article or tutorial, it
won’t be long till the good old Google dogs will come a sniffin’
for tasty treats and THAT my friend is how you get massive
traffic, AND all the while helping others.
The same goes for You Tube- whenever you post good informative entertaining videos,
people view, comment, like your videos, ask questions, and they
may subscribe to your YouTube channel which is another kind of
“list” , well, more of a circle of influence of people that you
are helping.
You can always always ALWAYS be building you business
and helping others even if your usual bag of marketing tricks
isn’t readily
available and / or you are broke as a joke and not able to pay
for traffic or leads….
As long as you have access to the
internet and can type or speak, you are good to go out there and
spread value, build your sphere of influence,and your base of
people that you can be helping regardless of what life throws at
you.
I wanted to show you that having an positive, relentless,
“always moving forward” mindset (like my friend does) will serve
you well and lead to your long term success. You can do this!
No matter what you do, life is going to happen, it’s all in how
you
react to it, and how you choose to continue to move forward that
will determine your success or failure.
