Hello, Seely Clark here. I am doing a video on how to get tons of free social media advertising using. I have an overview for you. The first thing I am going to tell you is when you do social media advertising one of the best places of course is one of the biggest platforms ever. It’s one of the biggest, meaning, there’s lots of garbage on it but there are huge amounts of excellent potential leads, clients, and sales to be had from it.
If you’re not advertising on – and I don’t mean paid advertising- if you’re not promoting yourself through every means necessary, then you absolutely have to start doing this!
So the first thing I am going to tell you to do is you’re going to join free groups that allow blatant free advertising. Now there is a way to go about this. You can’t just join 200 groups in a day. Facebook is not down with that. So I am going to show you an example.
What you’re going to do is you’re going to be on your own profile you hit the home button and whatever groups you already have you will see you click on.
You want to hit on the third one which is groups.
Click on that, and then you go down, and you’ll see all the groups that you’re in. As you can see here I am in a lot of groups. One I really want to point out or one type I want to point out is they will say “advertise your business pages or groups”. They will also say I’ll find it … there’s one in here that says, “Advertise here for free 24 7”.
You want blatant free advertising groups. What you’re going to do is you’re actually going to … hmm…let me find one so you can just advertise your business or page for free 24 7. It’s known that you are allowed to advertise any business you want as long (as it’s not illegal) in that group.
Some of these groups are public, meaning, whenever you post on them it goes everywhere. Some of them are private so it only goes to your fellow members in that group.
Then you are going to go back to “home” (the house icon) on your Facebook. You’re going to search “Advertise for free” and then you can go on from there. The first thing that comes up is “groups” and that makes it very convenient.
Then you’re going to hit “see all”. Then you can go down through and you can pick your groups. Then you can see how many members are in there. Some get 460 posts a day so that is fairly active.
The thing you do next is you’re going to click on “join group”. They may or may not ask you questions. Meaning, sometimes they’ll have you answer a couple of different questions in order to join their group. Such as do you promise to abide by our rules and you will not spam and post under other people’s con comments…etc.
After you hit submit in the group sign up form-then as soon as they get to it -which sometimes it’s super fast sometimes it’s a week- but you will have joined their group now the thing I really want to stress about this is this: You do not want to join a hundred groups in a day. If you do that Facebook will be going to be like “are you kidding me?”
You can’t do that. I tried when I first started doing this stuff and they put the brakes on. They told me to calm down. So my best advice is this: Over the course of a day you find these blatant free advertising groups and join five or ten per day. Do that every other day for two weeks. That way you add Them slowly, you add it naturally, and that will give you- over the course of time- a huge amount of free social media advertising.
Then you will have free advertising at your fingertips. If you do this like I said- let’s say that you did that over the course of two months… you don’t have to go every 14 days. You can go every other day for two months.
The point is to surely but slowly add five every day. Once you get this done, you’re going to have lots and lots and lots of people to advertise to. Now, why do I say that?
because let me give you a look at some of these groups I am going to go to groups again and as you can see I have a lot here not all of them are blatant advertising groups. Let me bring an example: You have some groups that have a large number of members. So this particular group “Advertise your business pages or groups” has over 100 thousand members.
So the first thing you’re going to want ….that’s a lot of people to advertise to… the first thing you want is to be sure you always read their rules. They will also include here how often you can post, and any specific rules.
Always always always read the rules of each group so that you don’t shoot yourself in the foot and get your content removed or get a slap on the wrist from Facebook. Because they will throw you in FB jail for seven or three days depending on your infraction so don’t do that.
I am telling you to read their rules for your own good and long term success.
You can go around and see which group has the most members. What I encourage you to do is, once you have a large amount of these blatant advertising groups that you have joined…. are you want to sort them.
What you will do is that that you go down through your groups on the left-hand side. Then you go to “home” you go to “groups” you go to the left-hand side and then you line them up you get a bunch across your browser.
Then you sort them from the largest amount of members to the smallest. This will do my advertising for the better part of a week because if I do one two three four five. Let’s say 5 groups per day- in one day then two days three days four days five days six days seven days.. that’d be about 10 days worth of advertising.
After you have gone through and advertised at all of your groups you can rotate back to the beginning. You should do is go from highest to lowest. How I do this is to always put my highest member count group to the furthest left-hand side.
What we are looking for here is a hundred thousand plus members in a group. Because when you do your first five, you want to be able to actually get the most coverage that you can.
Because if you’re going to do only five per day- which is safe- and stays within the letter of the law you want to also get the maxim amount of clout from the advertising that you do.
When you find a winner- which is over a hundred thousand- all you have to do is left-click your mouse and you can drag it back over here to the left-hand side.
So put the highest member count group to the left, and lowest to the right. You might miss one or two big groups but that’s basically the process of how you go about sorting from low to high.
Once you get five or six or ten groups that have a large membership then you’ll go back and advertise to them. That said, do not discount smaller member count groups. They may be smaller, but a lot of times when these first come out and they’re smaller, what they lack for in numbers, they will make up for in engagement.
There are new people coming into the group all the time. This may be their first group, they’re in a smaller group… they could be more likely to check out your offer.
Even though you have an advantage of a group that’s over a hundred thousand you have numbers. But in the under 100,000 member count groups, you also can have some really good engagement. So don’t count out the new groups, don’t count out the small groups.
And that’s how you find your groups- join five a day ten a day- do that every other day- that’ll get built up over the course of a couple of weeks and you start advertising to them and you can advertise as soon as the first five accept you as a member.
Feel free to use those first five as soon as they’re available. Make sure you keep them on a list so you know when you posted, so you don’t accidentally post the same group twice in two hours.
Next, I am going to show you how to do an actual advertising post in the free advertising groups that allow it. I am advertising right now in these groups. I either advertise my freedomwithus.com business or I advertise my most recent one which is memeriches.com
I have been using free advertising groups for years and have had some very good leads and sales.
Remember this….it’s a marathon, not a sprint.
Newbies ask at this point, “Are you going to post in five groups and make a boatload of money?” Of course not. I mean, if you do, more power to you! But most likely this is a marathon but you can get a butt-ton of traffic from it.
Please make sure that your ad is appropriate. And be sure to be looking for posts from yourself.
If you’re not sure when you posted in a group last, you can go to the top of the group and search your own name. Now I will give an example of posting my ad. So that’s how you check and make sure the rules haven’t changed.
Every time you post you can skim down through the rules make sure they haven’t added anything new.
So now on to how to create a post. It is simple/ We will be uploading a cool picture to FB. Some people add words to their post, some people add a link. I do not. I use visuals with my promotion of my business website. For example memeriches.com or freedomwithus.com.
When you put your ads in a public group that means everyone’s going to see it -also people on your personal profile will see it. And it’s just going to go everywhere along with the people in the group. Now You’re going to hit the photo/video button on the post, downloaded a good photo for the post.
You want to be able to keep that in a place where you can get out on your computer.
When you post in these groups, your post needs to be visually striking or intriguing. like we have a lady here that’s pointing to herself, and it pertains to the advertisement.
You will want an image or ad that’ll catch the eye when you’re scrolling and put an enthusiastic good-looking person in the post that people can relate to. That is what gets their attention. It stops them from the scroll. So I make sure that the ad in the image catches their eye.
An example of this is: I’ll be using a gentleman with a beard as the person in the photo. Then the next day I might use a cute animal. Make sure you have good images and make sure your website or your advertisement or business or affiliate link is where people can see it.
It makes it an easy read for the viewer.
After you you have an image uploaded to FB and are ready, you just hit the post button.
That is how you make sure you get tons of advertising, tons of free advertising, tons of free social media advertising and you can do this from day one.
Yes, it will take you a while to build up a portfolio of 50 to 100 groups. And that’s fine. But on day one -your first five once they approve- is you can start.
