Hey gang! I am at the Now LifeStyle HQ for the third day in a row! I am still blown away by the level of personal commitment to excellence, and how much Joel and his team and family genuinely care about their customers and affiliates!
When I was doing chest and triceps yesterday with Joel…. I volunteered to come in and do quads at the Green Machine Torture Chamber today. Why?
Because I want to make the most of my experience here, to demonstrate to Joel and the team that I am committed to excellence and will continue to be a great affiliate and an excellent mentor to my fellow team members…
Yes, I know, it’s not a day of rest between workouts! But you know what? There are sometimes in life that you have to reach out and grab life by the collar and make the most of the opportunities that it has to offer IMMEDIATELY!

It wasn’t perfect for me getting here! We had RV troubles, road construction, traffic delays, campgrounds that were full when we got to them, we had to park in Walmart parking lots a couple of different times, had to get a generator for my CPAP so that I could be rested enough to drive.
And guess what? When I hit the Schertz Walmart parking lot, Joel was like, “do I come get you or are you coming to me?”
I told him that I had been on the road for 2 days and needed a shower and shave and he’s like “No worried bro, come on over..” they had no parking signs at Walmart so I’d have to drop in with my 1990 chevy camper and towing my car behind it.
I felt like Cousin Eddie from National Lampoon’s Christmas movie pulling up…
But you know what? It was all good! Joel and his family welcomed us with open arms! Joel even gave me a handshake and hug hello despite the fact I was road worn and probably didn’t smell like a daisy at the time either. Then they invited us to dinner with them and their kids and we went to Garcia’s here in town.
I have learned so much by being here and taking with Joel, Ilona, Blake, J.B. David, John, and I am glad I stuck around for a bit because I got to meet Mike Potvin today. I was wondering where the heck he was… turned out he just got back from travelling just today.
So that’s it for now. The video of me getting my ass kicked on chest and triceps day should be ready soon and I will be sure to post it here for your amusement!
