You must be flexible in all aspects of life. It’s better to bend and adapt than to stagnate and break…

Hey gang! In the course of making a stretching video (a comedy!) I had some things that occurred to me that you really should hear. Take this, chew on it for a bit, take it to heart, and go take action on it for whatever part of your life it needs to be in! Read more below after you watch the video.

This video is not just about stretches for the body. It is about life In life, you must be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances- to never quit, and to never quit moving forward!. If you can’t bend a little, this life can and will break you!

For example, I work  full time as an affiliate, Team Leader and ambassador for the health and wellness company Now LifeStyle. We teach people to increase their fiber, increase their protein, and work out with weights- only 7 to 10 minutes 3 times per week- in a high intensity short duration workout. That’s it.

There are many people in this company that are super fit- a lot fitter than me actually, but I don’t let that stop me from getting out there and sharing my message with people! I am just me, and even though I don’t look like an uber fit bodybuilder, I am a good ambassador because I am me. I just go with it.

I am a big fairly muscular fella- but I have newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes, a heart condition, and I am one who still has a bit of body fat left to deal with. Not ideal for the industry I’m in you’d think- however, the reverse is true- FOR THESE reasons I am very approachable!

People are drawn in by my general size and muscles, but are also able to see my personality, that I am human, and that I have faults and health issues, but that I am making great gains using this simple system- they can relate to me as a person. Some people can’t relate to a super fit person, so in this case I have an advantage over some…

When I show people proof- not perfection- just proof of improvement- the love it! Because they can put themselves in my shoes! Things like- my Hemoglobin A1c is down a point in 5 months, my fasting blood sugar is better than it was 5 months ago, and I have gained 15 to 20 pounds, but it’s lean muscle- my doc even said so when I went up t get checked out recently. Yes I still have some fat, but so what?! It’s a work in progress that people can see the difference in both muscle and body fat when I show them before pics from last September….. It’s real to them then!

But if I had said, “oh man, I’m not fit enough to be a role model or to do this business, people are gonna laugh at me.” Or “people won’t listen to me cuz I’m diabetic” I would have never gotten involved in this and changed my health and life for the better!

What id I’d never shot this video? What if I felt fat, or didn’t do it because I didn’t have a tripod for my camera phone, or because I have a 1990 motor home (the star of the video btw) that doesn’t look like a big fancy one because I am worried about not looking the part? Then NOTHING WOULD GET done… no progress would be made. I would not be able to reach out and help people! If that were the way my mind worked, I never would’ve left the house in Maine!

Truly, I could give a fuck less what people think of my body or my home or any of that. The only value I ascribe to ANY of it is as a resource to help others improve themselves in health and business and for them to be inspired and realize that ANYONE can do whatever they want in life as long as they quit giving a shit about being perfect and just TAKE ACTION!

I am grateful for my health and what I have today because of Now LifeStyle. I am truly fortunate because I am FREE… I love sharing this with people because I am helping to save lives on the front end of their particular health problems- with a little education and guidance for them to help them stop things getting worse and in some cases turn their health around almost completely.

Just remember that whatever you’re doing in life- stay consistent! Don’t quit! Or…If you are not taking any action because of fear or for wanting everything to be perfect- forget it! Nothing will ever be perfect! Take action NOW! Imperfect action is better than none!
